Chicory flowers brighten my morning

Chicory grows wild here in SW France. Earlier in the season the cows love it but in the height of summer the stems get too fibrous for ideal eating. Pretty, though.

  1. We also have tons of Chicory growing along on both sides of our gravel road, the deer love it. Always sad to see the county come and mow it all down every year.

  2. It’s cool how you get interesting plant varieties by the road. People leave that area along and nature brings along some plants that suit that environment.
